Flu outbreak closes Anderson school

ANDERSON, Ind. (WTHR) — A flu outbreak is forcing Liberty Christian School to close its middle and high school building for two days this week.

They'll be operating as E-learning days Thursday and Friday, while the Pre-K through 6th grade students will remain on a normal schedule.

In a Facebook post Tuesday, the school prayed for God's healing power on the student body.

Just this week, 20 percent of the student body has had flu-related illnesses, and half of the teachers have been out sick, as well.

The school will use the days of canceled classes to clean the building.
