WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (WTHR) - A Florida man is facing charges after calling police when the people he said he paid for sex didn't show up.

Police in West Palm Beach responded to a hotel after dispatchers received the call from 50-year-old Jon Omer Sengul. Sengul told officers he offered four people $500 for one or more of them to have sexual relations with him in his hotel room, WPTV reported.

But Sengul said no one showed up after he gave them the money.

The officers clarified with Sengul that he was telling them he paid money in exchange for sex and he confirmed that is what happened. He was charged with one count of soliciting a prostitute and later released after posting bail.
