FISHERS, Ind. (WTHR) - Fishers police arrested a man who they say is responsible for selling over $1 million worth of stolen merchandise.

The investigation began in March after police say Ryan Walker was shoplifting at several "big box" stores in Fishers.

Police say after looking through several days of surveillance, officers were able to gather information and evidence leading to the arrest of Walker.

Further investigation revealed that since 2010 Walker had been selling stolen merchandise through his online E-Bay Business Account and he had customers from all over the world.

Officers obtained a subpoena for E-Bay records and confirmed Walker had received payments in excess of $1 million since 2010.
