FISHERS, Ind. (WTHR) — The Fishers Police Department is warning residents of suspicious activity in the community.

Sunday, a woman reported driving south near 116th Street and Allisonville Road in Fishers when two men in a pick-up truck pulled up alongside her.

The men claimed that she had lost her license plate, and they had picked it up, according to a Facebook post.

Luckily, when the woman saw the license plate the two men held up, she knew it wasn't hers.

Recognizing she was in danger, she continued to drive.

Fishers Police says if anyone is approached with this sort of tactic to immediately call 911.
