Fishers man killed in Brown County off-road crash

BROWN COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an off-road vehicle crash that killed a Fisher’s man and sent a child to the hospital.

According to a news release from DNR, Joseph Fenton, 38, was driving a 2015 Yamaha Grizzly eastbound in the 3000 block of Marlett Rd in Nashville when he veered off the gravel road and flipped over.

Fenton and a child passenger with him were thrown off and found by a family member.

Fenton was pronounced dead at the scene.

The child, who is a relative of Fenton, was flown to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis with a cut on his head. His injury is not life-threatening, and he was in stable condition Saturday night.

Neither were wearing helmets.

Alcohol is not believed to be a contributing factor.
