FISHERS, Ind. (WTHR) - Several Fishers firefighters were greeted with a random act of kindness Friday.

The department says a crew from Station 392 was shopping for groceries when they were dispatched on an emergency call.

When the crew returned to the store on Olio Road, Kroger employees had placed their groceries in the cooler and an anonymous person had paid for the groceries.

The crew said they hope the kind person understands just how much their kindness is appreciated.
