First snowfall of the season hits Utah

SALT LAKE CITY (WTHR) — Snow bunnies, rejoice!

On Sept. 10, Utah experienced its first snow since winter. Light snowfall fell at Bald Mountain Pass in the high Uintas on Tuesday morning, KSL reported. But it didn't stick around.

By 11 a.m. the snow was melted.

Of course this first snow happened in the mountains with an elevation above 10,000 feet, according to the National Weather Service.
