MESA, Ariz. (WTHR) — Firefighters in Mesa, Arizona had to improvise when they were called about a sound coming from a culvert at a park.

When they arrived firefighters tried to get a good look inside, but the pipe was full of debris.

So firefighters used a long pole to pull all that debris out and with it came a tiny puppy.

The person who called firefighters decided to take the puppy and three of its siblings home.
