Firefighters, animal control rescue group of ducklings from storm drain

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – A group of lucky ducklings were rescued after falling into a storm drain Saturday.

The Pike Township Fire Department and Indianapolis Animal Control worked together to rescue about 10 ducklings.

It happened near the Eagle Creek Animal Clinic on West 38th Street around 6 p.m.

Marty Davis was in the area when it happened and snapped some photos of the rescue.

"The fire department and animal control deserves all the credit! They were amazing!!!!" said Davis.
