VIRGINIA, USA — (WTHR) - If hiking and beer didn't go together before, they do now.

Virginia based brewing company, Devils Backbone, is looking to hire a chief hiking officer who will get paid to hike the Appalachian Trail and drink beer.

"We’ll outfit our CHO with gear, fly ‘em to the trail head, and host some beer events along the way (off the trail of course, when our CHO is taking a well-deserved zero day!)," according to the brewery's site. "Plus, there’s a $20k stipend."

While it may sound great so far, it won't be an easy task. The Appalachian Trail is more than 2,000 miles long.
