Fantastic Holiday weekend weather

A fantastic weekend is in store before another active pattern of wet weather returns.

After a chilly start this morning, temperatures will rebound into the mid 50s this afternoon under mostly sunny skies. It will be a bit breezy as the winds begin to turn out of the southwest from 10 to 15 mph. Wind chill values will be in the mid 40s this afternoon.

If you are heading downtown to the Final Four games or the concerts at White River State Park, you'll need a coat. Temperatures will be in the low 40s this evening. It will be mostly clear overnight with patchy frost possible. Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 30s Easter Sunday morning.

It will be a beautiful Easter Sunday with temperatures climbing into the mid 60s with a stiff breeze out of the south-southwest.

An unsettled pattern takes shape during the work week. There is a chance of showers during the day Monday and then rain will become likely by Monday evening, as fans are heading into the Championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium. Heavy rain is likely, with over an inch of rain possible by Tuesday morning.

The stormy conditions will continue through Friday with mild spring temperatures near 70 degrees. Right now, next weekend looks dry.
