INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — As the Colts vs. Bears game came to a close, fans were stunned to find out that Andrew Luck is planning to retire.

Luck hadn't practiced recently and did not start in the first two preseason games of the 2019 season, yet fans assumed he'd be playing in the regular season.

Now we know that's not going to happen.

Colts fans, celebrities and Luck's former teammates expressed their emotions about the shocking news.

Former Colts Punter Pat McAfee was as stunned as anyone to hear that his former teammate was retiring.

Andrew Luck has been an active member and role model of the Riley Hospital community.
