INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A family is remembering the life of a young woman, killed on her way home from work Thursday.

Tears flowed freely Friday night at 30th and Ritter as family and friends remembered 23-year-old Mykeia Dorsett.

"She was a fun loving, genuine daughter, a big sister, just loveable, just a loveable young lady with a mission, always had a mission," said Marquita Allen, Mykeia's mother.

Allen says her daughter was killed Thursday morning on her way home from work at UPS.

"She was at the intersection and was hit by a tow truck, a flatbed tow truck. Haven't got the details yet, but just pray that everything, justice is served, cause her life was so young and taken just so fast," Allen added.

Mykeia's family released balloons in her favorite color, asking for prayers and healing for their broken hearts.

"Kiss your kids. Love 'em. Just pray for us," said Allen.

Investigators haven't said if there are any charges in the case.
