INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - The Indianapolis Central Library is hosting a special fall festival to inspire local families and maybe even help kids develop their artistic skills.

Indy PL presents “Fall Fest ‘17” on Saturday November 18 from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. The festival features cartoonist Robb Armstrong. Armstrong presents at 2:15 p.m. He created the comic strip, “Jump Start.” Armstrong is one of four African-American syndicated cartoonists in the United States. His comic strip first appeared in 1988 and currently appears in more than 300 newspapers.

At “Fall Fest ‘17,” Armstrong hopes to inspire kids and teach them that dreams really do come true despite rejection.
