SHANDONG PROVINCE, China (WTHR) - They're celebrating the birth of rare lion twins in East China.

One male and one female were said to be in good health when born last Wednesday at Jinan Wildlife Park in Shandong Province.

Zookeepers put the cubs in an incubator since the mother lion didn't know how to care for them.

They were called National Day Babies since they were born on the second day of the holiday.

The cubs get goat milk bottles every three hours.

They join the park's three adult white lions. It's the first time the park was able to successfully breed the white lions.
