INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - 13 Investigates has learned a Warren Township school bus driver and a bus monitor have lost their jobs after leaving a child on a school bus.

The incident happened on May 23rd.

The school district tells 13 Investigates that the 6-year old girl fell asleep during the morning route and never got off the bus at Lowell Elementary School.

When the bus driver returned to do her afternoon route, the little girl was awake on the bus. The kindergartner wasn't hurt during the incident.
