BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) — With all the rain we've seen lately in central Indiana, it's important to remember the phrase, "Turn around, don't drown."

If you get stuck, it becomes dangerous for first responders to rescue you.

And, it's a costly move too.

In Bartholomew County, police could write you a $140 ticket for ignoring the warning and driving into high water.
