Dr. Jerome Adams sworn in as U.S. Surgeon General

WASHINGTON (WTHR) - Former Indiana State Health Commissioner Jerome Adams is now officially the U.S. Surgeon General.

Vice President Mike Pence swore his fellow Hoosier into office Tuesday afternoon.

Adams was nominated by President Donald Trump in June and confirmed for the position last month.
