INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Following the United States 2-0 victory over the Netherlands in the Women's World Cup on Sunday, players and fans have rallied for equal pay on par with their male counterparts. According to the Associated Press, the women will get $4 million for winning the World Cup from FIFA, the international soccer governing body; however, the men's French team got $38 million for winning last year.

Dick's Last Resort, a restaurant chain known for its sassy service, is pledging to change the name of its restaurants nationwide to Chicks & Dick's Last Resort for a minimum of one month if and when the U.S. Soccer Federation agrees to equal pay for men and women.

In honor of the World Cup victory, Dick's Last Resort will feature two new cocktails for the month of August:

  • The Equalizer – A bold blend of Captain Morgan Rum, Crystal Lite and a splash of Rosé sprinkled with Heath bits.
  • Purple-Haired Badass – Drink like a champion with this audacious mix of Ole Smoky White Lightning and Blackberry Moonshine with Raspberry Puree and your choice of regular or sugar-free Red Bull.

All Dick's Last Resort locations will also donate $1 from the sale of each cocktail to youth girls soccer programs in its respective local communities.

You can visit the downtown Indianapolis Dick's Last Resort at 111 W Maryland St, Indianapolis, IN 46225.
