INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Have you filed your tax return yet? You have a month left to get your taxes done.

The Internal Revenue Service says it is holding onto a lot of unclaimed refunds from 2015.

It says more than 2 million people didn't file their return that year. It's saving more than $4 billion for those tax filers.

In order to claim the money, anyone who didn't claim their refund from 2015 has until April 15th.

If they don't do it by this year's deadline, the money will go back to the U.S Treasury.

You generally have about three years to claim your refund.
