DANVILLE, Ind. (WTHR) — Upon popular demand, the Danville Metropolitan Police Department is bringing back its fundraiser for a K-9 with kidney disease.

The department announced a 10-day flash sale for its 2019 K-9 Program Fundraiser because several people had contacted the department about more opportunities to purchase items.

Earlier this year, Zeke was diagnosed with kidney disease. While that does not keep him from doing his job, the special medicated dog food he needs is significantly more expensive.

Zeke has served with the department since 2014 and is fully certified in narcotics detection, tracking, area searches and apprehension.

Items available for purchase include long sleeve t-shirts, short sleeve t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts and more.

Orders are estimated to ship in the third week of December.
