INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Today's storms put a damper on Cummins 100th Anniversary celebration in Columbus.

Employees, retirees and their families gathered downtown around the engine maker's headquarters for displays of their products, tours of the facility, live music and free food.

Lightning moved in about two hours into the party and they were forced to shut down.

There are celebrations planned all around the world this year to commemorate the company's 100 years in business.
