Crack, Sizzle and Some Storms on the Fourth - Live Doppler 13 Blog

It will be a hot Fourth of July day with some scattered thunderstorms developing later this afternoon into the evening.

No severe weather is expected but storms could impact your outdoor plans for a brief amount of time today.

Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s with heat indices in the low to mid 90s.

A few scattered storms will be around this evening.

Hopefully, any storms should diminish by sunset, making way for mainly dry conditions for fireworks tonight across central Indiana. It will be mostly cloudy and warm and muggy this evening with temperatures only falling into the mid 70s by midnight.
