Community Health offers training to help identify suicide warning signs


INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Community Health Systems is taking steps to fight depression and suicide.

October is Mental Health Awareness Month and Thursday is National Depression Screening Day.

Community Health is offering training to help you identify suicide warning signs and how to offer hope.

The training sessions are on October 22, November 7 and November 28.

Free QPR Training

October 22 9am-11am Noblesville Education Services Center

November 7 4pm-6pm Community Health Pavilion Washington (east side)

November 28 6pm-8pm Johnson County Public Library-White River Branch

Individuals trained in QPR will be able to:

  • Recognize the warning signs of suicide
  • Know how to offer hope to someone
  • Know how to get help and save a life
