Cold front brings Friday showers

Mild temperatures in the 50s and 60s get us started Friday morning with lower and middle 70s this afternoon. Keep the umbrella handy. We are tracking a cold front that will trigger a line of showers and maybe a thunderstorm from late morning through this afternoon.

Once the cold front moves east, skies will start to clear. The rain should move out and it looks like we the Indians get in their game with Star Wars night at Victory Field.

The One America 500 Festival Mini Marathon is Saturday morning and Rev is Saturday evening at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It will be a quick warm-up on Saturday for the mini marathon. Saturday will be dry.

The chance for rain returns later Sunday, with highs on Sunday afternoon in the middle and upper 70s.
