INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Celebrities roll into town for the Indy 500 every year. Whether it's the celebs excited to be here, or fans excited to meet them, it's always nice to have the athletes, actors and historic figures in the Circle City.

Nikki Sixx stopped by the yard of bricks before the race.

The green flag was handed off to Jake Gyllenhaal and Boston Marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman from iCarly actor Nathan Kress and London Kress.

Eyewitness News anchor Naomi Pescovitz was on the red carpet chatting with celebrities and VIP before the race.
