Celebrate the release of 'Strangers Things' season 3 around Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) – Netflix will be releasing its third season of "Stranger Things" next week on the 4th of July.

If you watch the show, they you likely know it takes place in the fictional Indiana town of Hawkins.

So you can't exactly go there to celebrate the release of the new season, but there are some places around Central Indiana getting in on the fun to celebrate the release of Season 3.

Starting this weekend, The Marriott downtown is offering an "upside down" hotel package.

It starts at $209 a night and includes Netflix Hasbro's official "Stranger Things" card game, string lights, a bed throw and a complimentary mug.

And if you're not looking to spend that kind of money, you can go out for a "Stranger Things" dinner.

Next week, Burger Study will be offering a "Stranger Things" burger.

It's two beef patties topped with American cheese, peanut butter and blueberry jam, served on two waffles.

Punch Bowl Social will also be serving "Eleven's Waffles" next week.

Or if you'd rather go out for drinks you can find some special "Stranger Things" themed cocktails at Hotel Tango, Spoke and Steele and the Rye Bar.
