Caught on camera: Dozens of sharks lurk near south Florida shore

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (WTHR) — Cool aerial video from our NBC affiliate WPTV-TV shows blacktip sharks lurking near a south Florida beach shore.

The sharks have been migrating to south Florida for the last couple of months.

Scientists say the sharks are a welcoming sight, especially since there was a huge decrease in migration numbers last years.

Blacktip sharks have started to migrate down thanks to cold waters to the north. It appears they're having no issues soaking up the south Florida sun.

Researches say the sharks usually stay in the area for about two months and can grow to around 6 feet long.
