PHILADELPHIA (WTHR) β€” Carli Lloyd has been offered an opportunity to make history.

Several NFL teams have reached out to Lloyd after a video of her kicking a 55-yard field goal at the Philadelphia Eagles training camp went viral.

One of the offers was to kick in a preseason game, however, the game conflicted iwth a women's national team match against Portugal, Fox Sports reported.

Today, she got another call from another NFL team,” Galanis told me in a telephone conversation on Monday. β€œThe one that called today, I don’t want to say who it is, was willing to put her on the roster for their next (game). They were willing to put her on the roster,” Lloyd's Trainer, James Galanis, told Fox Sports.

Although it's unclear if Lloyd would have accepted the offer, sports analysts are suggesting some NFL teams need Lloyd on their roster.

Gannis said she's definitely thinking about it.

Lloyd has won gold at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, scoring in both finals. She's also won two World Cup Soccer Championships with team USA.

It's unknown if the 37-year-old soccer player will participate in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo next summer.
