Butler's Joey Brunk transferring to IU for final 2 years

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Former Butler University and Southport High School standout Joey Brunk will head south to Bloomington to college basketball career.

Brunk announced his decision to play his final two years at Indiana University on social media Tuesday.

"I’ve grown up an Indiana kid & I’m proud of where I come from. Excited to be an Indiana Hoosier & play for Coach Miller. Looking forward to joining the tradition. #IUBB," Brunk tweeted.


Brunk averaged 7.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game last season for the Bulldogs, starting 13 of Butler's 33 games.
