GAS CITY, Ind. (WTHR) - Two men died in a house fire early Saturday morning.

Brothers Douglas Simon, 60, and Bruce D. Simon, 53, were found dead inside the house on G Street near Mississinewa High School at 6:45 a.m. Saturday.

Grant County Coroner Chris Butche told WTHR's news gathering partners at the Marion Chronicle Tribune that Douglas Simon was found on the main floor of the two-story house in his bedroom. Bruce Simon was found upstairs just outside of his bedroom.

Autopsies are scheduled for Monday morning. Toxicology results are pending.

Firefighters have not determined what caused the fire. They told the Chronicle the house did not have any smoke detectors.

The State Fire Marshal's has taken over the investigation since it involved fatalites.
