INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Both of the judges from southern Indiana who were shot in downtown Indianapolis are now home.

Family of Judge Andrew Adams say he was released from the hospital on Thursday, more than two weeks after the shooting.

Judge Bradley Jacobs went home and was surrounded by his loved ones earlier this week, according to family.

They say "this has been a very emotional and trying time" and they asked for "more time alone to let Brad gain more strength."

The two men who were arrested for shooting the judges have since been released after the prosecutor said more investigation is needed.
