Big Ten championship will impact downtown streets this weekend

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A lot of people will be in downtown Indianapolis this weekend for the Big Ten championship football game.

It actually bean Friday night with a fan fest event on Georgia Street.

The Ohio State Buckeyes will take on Wisconsin Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium. Kickoff is 8 p m.

There are some road closures you need to know about. Starting at 5 p.m, South Street in front of the stadium will be closed between West and Illinois Streets.

And at 10 p.m., Capitol Avenue will be closed from South Street to McCarty.
