WASHINGTON (WTHR) — Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden said he was open to nominating former President Barack Obama to the U.S. Supreme Court.

He made the comment in response to a question during a rally in Iowa.

“If he’d take it, yes,” Biden said according to The New York Times.

Biden said if he was elected, he would nominate justices that saw the Constitution as an evolving document.

Former President Obama's credentials could make him a viable candidate.
