KOKOMO, Ind. (WTHR) - A well-known piece of art is now in Kokomo.

You've probably heard of the mysterious street artist Banksy. For the next month, his work "Haight Street Rat" will be on display at the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library.

Brian Greif now owns the painting and is bringing it to different cities around the country. He reportedly paid $40,000 to the owners of a San Francisco bed & breakfast to remove the wall that contained the artwork.

As it turns out, a Kokomo librarian watched the documentary about Greif's efforts to save the painting and reached out to him to see if he'd bring it to central Indiana

The documentary "Saving Banksy" is currently streaming on Netflix.
