ST. FRANCIS COUNTY, Ark. (WTHR) — An Arkansas police department issued a clever PSA about the coronavirus and meth.

The St. Francis County Sheriff's Office posted a picture on their Facebook page warning people that meth could be contaminated by the coronavirus.

"If you have recently purchased meth locally, it may be contaminated with the coronavirus," the post reads.

The department is offering to test the meth for coronavirus, free of charge.

The department gives the option to bring the meth into the sheriff's office or an officer can come to your home to "test it."

It's unclear if the sheriff's office has had any takers.

(Note: There is no established link between methamphetamine and coronavirus. This is merely a joke by the sheriff's office.)
