ANDERSON, Ind. (WTHR) - An Anderson man is facing charges including terroristic mischief after police say he threatened to shoot them and blow up his apartment.

Twenty-three-year-old Anthony Brockington smiled for the camera, while being booked into the Madison County Jail.

According to our partners at the Herald Bulletin, police went to his apartment last week. Brockington was allegedly trying to push a child down a flight of stairs and threatening to shoot people, including four officers.

They say he also claimed he was going to blow up the building, by leaving his gas on and taking a lighter to it.

Brockington's mother told the Herald Bulletin her son is not a violent person and has mental health issues.
