500 Festival Memorial Service will honor fallen servicemen and women today

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WTHR) — Hundreds of people will gather in downtown Indy today to remember our fallen servicemen and women who served our country.

Today's 500 Festival Memorial Service will be from noon until 1p.m. at the Indiana War Memorial.

General Joseph Lengyel will be a part of today's service. He serves as the Chief of the National Guard Bureau, as well as a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in Washington.

The service is free and open to the public.
