INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Happy hump day! Here are five things you need to know today.

1) The theme for the 2018 500 Festival Parade has been announced. "Illuminate. Innovate. Indianapolis." 500 Festival president and CEO Bob Bryant explains "illuminate" pays homage to long-time parade sponsor IPL. "Innovate" showcases the the growth in the technology industry Indianapolis has experienced over the years.

2) Hometown favorite Addison Agen is on to the top 8 on "The Voice." The Ft. Wayne native moved on after a unique and unexpected performance of Britney Spears' "Lucky" on Monday night.

3) You can celebrate the holiday season tiny style in Zionsville this weekend at Tiny Wonderland. Our Carlos Diaz got a preview of the tiny home tour, which features 20 homes decked out for the holiday season. Get tickets here. Tickets are good throughout the weekend.

4) Police are searching for a man suspected of rape and confinement in Kokomo. Gary Perkins was sentenced to 40 years for rape and sexual battery in 1997. He was released in 2014, and is now suspect of tying a woman to a bed, raping her, and leaving her there. Perkins is a registered sex offender, and is believed to be last driving a blue 2003 Chrysler Town and Country mini-van with an Indiana license plate 644TJ2.

5) As promised, a winter blast is hitting the state today. We'll be mostly dry today, but highs will only climb into the lower 40s.
