BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WTHR) — Dozens of buildings do not have power on Indiana University's Bloomington campus.

The university tweeted out a message, saying they're aware of the issue.

Crews are working on solving the problem, and power will be restored as soon as possible.

IU Director of University Media Relations Chuck Carney said the outage — caused by a Duke Energy distribution center going out — is affecting 44 buildings on campus. Students should check with teachers to determine if their class will still meet.

All dining locations in the Indiana Memorial Union are closed.

There is not an estimated time for when the power will be restored.
