CHICAGO (WTHR) — The Chicago French Bulldog Rescue saved 23 puppies from a hot moving truck.

The puppies were found inside a tightly packed plastic crate in a moving van in Texarkana, Texas.

According to authorities, it was 121 degrees inside the container, and the puppies didn't have food nor water.

One puppy was found dead, according to Public Good.

Many people have asked if the puppies are up for adoption, but right now the rescue said the pups are "pretty sick" and need medical attention first and foremost.

The puppies were airlifted from Texas to Chicago where they are recovering.

Anyone who wishes to donate money to the puppies care and medical expenses can do so here.
