20th anniversary of Reggie Miller's 8 points in 9 seconds


Reggie Miller scored eight points in nine seconds to beat the New York Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals twenty years ago today.

Miller led the Pacers to a 107-105 victory after the Pacers trailed by six with 18.7 seconds to go. In game one of the 19-95 Eastern Conference semifinals against the Knicks in New York... the Pacers were trailing 105 to 99 with just 18 point 7 seconds left in the game.

Miller hit a three, stole the proceeding inbound pass, hit a second three, and then made two free throws after being fouled on the Pacers' next possession, 

After the game,  Miller told NBC, "This is for you Indiana, we're coming back!"

Indiana went on to win the series in seven games. They lost in the Eastern Conference Finals to the Orlando Magic.
