ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WTHR) — A Florida community has banned together to help a young local.

Samantha Rodriguez takes care of her five younger siblings since they lost their parents to cancer. The siblings are ages 6 through 15.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office first introduced the community to the siblings in December, when deputies surprised them with Christmas presents.

After seeing their story, a group of people bought Rodriguez a car to help get the family around, according to WFLA.

“You don’t know how much this means to us. It’s such a big help, really. Doing everything on my own is very hard but I’m so glad to have people like you guys in my life,” Rodriguez told WFLA.
