LAWRENCE, Ind. (WTHR) — A 16-year-old was taken to Riley Hospital Monday evening after being shot in the arm.

Police were called to the scene in the 4800 block of Leone Drive, near East 46th Street and Shadeland Avenue, around 7:15 p.m. As of early Tuesday morning, the victim was stable and in good condition at the hospital.

Police say three other juveniles were present at the time of the shooting, but the circumstances that led to the gunshot are not known. Police did not release any suspect information.

Investigators have not connected Monday's incident with a shooting Saturday night that wounded five teenagers, including a 13-year-old boy who is in critical condition with a gunshot wound to his face.

A 14-year-old boy was arrested for that shooting.
