CARMEL, Ind. (WTHR) - More than a dozen people were sent to the hospital Thursday morning after a strange odor was reported at a Carmel office complex.

Thirteen people at 10401 N. Meridian St. told medics they felt light headed and dizzy, along with other flu-like symptoms. Troy Woodruff with RQAW Corp. said two employees there passed out during a health and wellness conference on the 4th floor.

The building was evacuated and fire crews searched the building looking for the cause of the odor. By 1 p.m., they had not detected any source for the odor, so the building was cleared and employees were allowed to return to work.
