118-year prison sentence ordered in 2017 Chesterfield homicide

MADISON COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) - A Muncie man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for a deadly shootout that happened two years ago in Chesterfield.

Agapito Diaz III was sentenced Tuesday to 118 years in prison after being found guilty of multiple charges, including murder.

Jalynn Harman, 20, was killed and another man was hurt in the shooting between two homes.

The other alleged shooter in his case, Joshua Steele, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm. He will be in court for a hearing next Monday.
