Expect another humid day and, for some of you, wet pavement already this morning. The threat for storms is in the forecast. A few storms may reach severe limits.

Thursday will be a day to stay weather aware. Heavy rain and damaging winds are the biggest threats, but hail and isolated tornadoes can't be ruled out completely. It will be warm and muggy, with highs in the middle and upper 80s. Look for a slight risk for severe weather in East Central Indiana. It looks like the rain ends before the legendary Patti Labelle takes the stage at the Indiana State Fair tonight.

This weather system will move out for Friday, which is good timing because Friday is the opening night of Operation Football. We have you covered from Sunrise through the NightBeat on Friday. We kick off coverage, literally, with a look at the brand new Falcon Stadium at Perry Meridian High School. Friday will be less humid, with highs in the lower and middle 80s. Friday evening will be clear, with temperatures in the 70s.

The weekend forecast looks warm, with highs in the middle 80s on Saturday and in the upper 80s on Sunday. There is a slight chance for a shower or storm on Saturday, but there will be lots of dry time this weekend.

For the solar eclipse, we are forecasting just a few clouds Monday afternoon. Remember, don't look at the sun and you don't want to look at it during the eclipse, either. Make sure if you want to view it, you take precautions.
