It's dry but still a bit muggy in Indianapolis this morning. Portions of Indiana and Illinois remain mainly dry, so we'll keep the rain out of the forecast. If mowing your yard is on tap when you get home from work, you should have no problems.
Highs today will be in the mid 80s. That means it will be a perfect day for the thousands of children headed back to school today, and for the opening of Colts camp this afternoon at Anderson University. Stay hydrated if you are headed out to see the boys in blue practice beginning at 1:55 p.m.
Rain chances return later Thursday. In fact, scattered showers and storms are in the forecast for Thursday and Friday. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s, with the rain on Thursday and Friday.
Right now, the Storm Prediction Center in Norman Oklahoma has us out of any risk area for severe weather during that time period.
We are forecasting more dry hours than wet hours this weekend, with lows near 70 and highs in the middle 80s.
