Scott Swan anchors the 12:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. newscasts of Channel 13 Eyewitness News. Swan began working for WTHR in 2002 and has won the prestigious National Edward R. Murrow award and two National Headliner awards.
During his WTHR career, Swan has won regional Emmys for "Best Anchor" and been honored as "Best Reporter" by the Indiana Associated Press.
In 2014, Swan continued his decade of Olympic coverage by traveling to Russia prior to Sochi Winter Games. Swan has also traveled to Athens, Torino, Beijing, Vancouver and London gathering human interest stories which include:
Swan is also known for getting exclusive interviews. He was the only Indianapolis reporter to conduct an interview with former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in his Las Vegas home. He conducted the first prison interview with Marcus Schrenker, the Geist money manager who faked his own death by jumping out of an airplane. Swan also got the first interview with Indiana rocker Henry Lee Summer who described his ongoing battle with meth. Swan landed the first TV interview with John Mellencamp before the musician launched his "No Better Than This" tour.

Swan won the National Edward R. Murrow Award and a National Headliner Award for "Mission Complete." The inspiring story chronicled Greenfield Marine Josh Bleill who suffered the loss of both legs in an Iraq bomb explosion.
Prior to his career at WTHR, Swan worked at KTVX-TV in Salt Lake City, WISH-TV in Indianapolis, KITV-TV in Honolulu, KESQ-TV in Palm Springs, KHJ-TV in Los Angeles and Disneyland Broadcast Services.
Swan emcees a wide variety of events and gives his testimony for church groups. He serves with the Lamplighter Ministry in Indianapolis.
Swan graduated with a broadcast journalism degree from Pepperdine University in 1985. He married his high school sweetheart, Janae'. They have three children.
