Help feed homeless men, women and children this Thanksgiving by registering for the Eleventh Annual Drumstick Dash. The Walk/Run takes place Thanksgiving morning, November 28, at 9 a.m., in Broad Ripple. In the last decade, the Drumstick Dash has grown to be the third largest running event in Indiana, behind only the Mini Marathon and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. It attracted more than 16,000 people in 2012. WTHR is a proud sponsor.
You can run or walk a 4.6 mile course or a 2.5 mile course through Broad Ripple. Children can also take part in the Lil' Gobbler's Run. A discounted family rate is available to encourage families to participate together. Proceeds benefit Wheeler Mission to serve the poor and homeless in our community.
