Drumstick Dash 2012 - 13 WTHR Indianapolis

WTHR-TV is once again proud to sponsor the tenth annual Drumstick Dash, a family-friendly run/walk event in Broad Ripple on Thanksgiving morning. The proceeds benefit Wheeler Mission Ministries which provides critically needed goods and services to the homeless, poor and needy in Central Indiana. Founded in 1893, Wheeler is the oldest continuously operating ministry of its kind in the state of Indiana.

What: 4.6 mile or 2.5 mile run/walk

When: November 22, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.

Where: BlueMile in Broad Ripple

Pre-registration fee is $26 per entrant until November 19.

FAMILY RATE: After the first two members sign up at the $26 rate, the entry fee for each family member is $16. Entry fee is $30 for everyone after November 19. (*Family rate does not apply after November 19)

Highlights:

• "Lil Gobber's" Run for kids 10 and under - 10:15 a.m.
• Meet the official mascot Jerry Gobler
• First to catch the Turkey contest
• Awards to the top 10 overall male and female race finishers
• Long sleeved-shirt for the first 19,000 pre-registered entrants.
• 4.6 mile event is timed and scored with IPICO timing tags
